Our client, a leading European manufacturing and distribution company is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their dynamic organisation. 

This Accounting Manager role will be responsible for managing function of the distribution & sales centre. 


Candidate should:

  • Be able and willing to work in Dublin, Ireland
  • Be eligible to work in Ireland

Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month end Accounting process including reconciliations
  • Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of multiple balance sheets and profit & loss accounts
  • Manage multiple month end close activities, including coordinating variance reviews with team to validate the accuracy of reporting at a high level
  • Act as liaison between in-house and shared service providers in resolving issues and reconciling payments
  • Support the preparation of P&L Forecasting
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all corporate reporting and requests
  • Significant involvement in supporting multiple statutory audits
  • Ensure controls are in compliance with internal and external audit requirements
  • Responsible for resolving AR and AP issues and ensure cash flow is being optimised
  • Responsible for monthly Treasure board submissions, along with Group reporting requests
  • Ensure accounting is in line with local fiscal requirements and company policies and assure timely month-end closing results
  • Provide financial support/analysis and be the focal point of contact for the relevant commercial teams


Accounting Manager Essential skills and qualifications:

A successful Finance and Accounting Manager should have the following:

  • Qualifications in ACA, CIMA or ACCA
  • With good Post qualifications experience
  • Ideally has knowledge in Lease Accounting
  • Advance Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of P&L, Balance sheets and cash flow
  • Good project management skills/experience
