Our client in Ollerton are currently hiring experienced Band 6 Physiotherapists


Physiotherapists (Band 6) – Job description:

A unique opportunity has arisen to work within a small therapy team for people of working age with complex care, rehabilitation and/or life limiting physical and neurological conditions.

This role would suit a qualified Physiotherapist who has experience of medical/respiratory and/or neuro-rehabilitation, assessing and training staff.

  • You will provide high quality patient focused care through assessment, diagnosis, development and delivery of individual treatment programmes
  • Provide assistance in the supervision, support and education of unqualified staff and students
  • Participate in departmental audit in support of evidence based practice
  • Facilities include a fully equipped rehabilitation gym, activities programme and extensive outdoor space


Physiotherapists (Band 6) – Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Must hold a Physiotherapy degree
  • Must be registered with the CSP and the Health Professions Council
  • Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH
  • Knowledge and Understanding of Care Standards Act 2000 and other relevant legislation
  • Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities
  • Demonstrate good organisational skills
  • Display evidence of teambuilding abilities and commitment to team working
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
  • Exhibit a caring disposition towards service users and acknowledges the need for varying approaches to meet individual needs
